What Toolsly.in Is
Toolsly.in is a growing library of 30+ free, browser-based tools built for Indian users — cricket calculators, finance and tax tools, fitness checks, PDF utilities, text tools and everyday converters. New tools are added and existing ones are deepened over time, rather than churned out for the sake of a bigger number.
The idea is simple: the tools you reach for in daily life should be fast, free, and private. Whether you’re working out your team’s required run rate during an IPL chase, checking GST on an invoice, or converting a PDF at work, you shouldn’t have to sign up, install anything, or hand over your data to get an answer.
It’s a Made-in-India project, and the tools are calibrated for Indian contexts — GST 2.0 slabs, Indian income-tax structure, BMI ranges relevant to Indian bodies, IPL run-rate maths, and more.
Who Builds It
Toolsly.in is built and maintained by Pranav, a lead data scientist, independently. It began as a set of small tools I built for myself — quick calculators and converters to take the friction out of everyday tasks and save a few minutes here and there in my own work.
Somewhere along the way it became obvious that the same tools could help anyone who wants to automate the small, repetitive parts of daily life intelligently — and pick up a little knowledge while doing it. My background is in turning messy problems into clear, correct answers with data, and that’s exactly the standard I hold each tool to: get the logic right, explain it honestly, and make it genuinely useful rather than just another calculator.
Because it’s run by one person rather than a faceless brand, feedback reaches me directly — if a tool is wrong or missing, telling me actually changes something.
How We Keep Tools Accurate
A calculator is only worth using if the numbers are right. Every tool is checked against a primary source rather than copied from other sites:
- Tax & GST — figures follow official notifications, including the GST 2.0 slabs (5%, 18%, 40%) effective 22 September 2025 and the current income-tax structure.
- Health — BMI categories follow both WHO and India-specific (lower Asian-Indian) cut-offs, presented as screening guidance, not medical advice.
- Cricket — run-rate, strike-rate and net-run-rate formulas follow standard ICC definitions, including the all-out full-quota rule.
- Privacy — every calculation runs in your browser, so the data you type is never uploaded or stored.
When something can’t be stated precisely, we say so plainly instead of inventing a number. If you ever spot an error, please flag it — corrections are made quickly.
