Fantasy cricket scoring rewards real on-field performance: runs, wickets, catches, strike rate and economy all convert into points, multiplied by your captain and vice-captain choices. But the exact values differ between apps, which is why the same innings can score differently on Dream11 versus My11Circle. This guide lays out the full scoring system for each major Indian platform across T20, ODI and Test formats. How many points is a wicket in Dream11?
In Dream11 T20 and IPL matches, a wicket (excluding run-outs) is worth 25 points, with an extra bonus for bowled or LBW dismissals. A 3-wicket haul adds a bonus, rising for 4 and 5 wickets. In Tests a wicket is worth less per the longer format. Run-outs are scored as fielding points, not bowling points. Dream11 increased the wicket value to help balance bowlers against high-scoring batters.
What is My11Circle's Super Player?
My11Circle's most distinctive feature is the Super Player, who earns 3x points instead of the standard 2x captain multiplier used by Dream11 and most other apps. This makes captain-equivalent selection even more decisive on My11Circle: a strong Super Player pick can swing a contest more than on any 2x platform. My11Circle also applies strike-rate scoring more widely than Dream11.
Why do the same points differ between fantasy apps?
Each platform sets its own scoring table. Dream11 applies strike-rate penalties but limited bonuses; My11Circle and Vision11 reward strike rate for more players; MyTeam11 exempts bowlers from strike-rate penalties. Multipliers differ too, with My11Circle's 3x Super Player being the biggest outlier. Because of this, an aggressive top-order batter may be more valuable on one app than another, so it pays to know each system.
How is the strike-rate bonus calculated in T20 fantasy?
On Dream11 T20, after a minimum of 10 balls faced, a strike rate above 170 earns +6, 150–170 earns +4, and 130–150 earns +2, while low strike rates below 70 lose points.
